Improv impacts social connections!

Led by Marybeth Dekara, professor of Theater at Clark University, who is also an actress, director and writer, Summit Campus students are participating in weekly improv classes at the Academy DoJo. Exciting new research supports the positive effects of improv theater techniques in helping individuals on the autism spectrum be their best selves while building emotional awareness, reciprocal interactions, social cognition and imagination. It's also a lot of fun!!
